Mapeley/Santander yielded up their lease at expiry. The Landlord made a dilapidations claim in the sum of £2.6m then sold the building (including the right to pursue the dilapidations claim) to an owner occupier. The new owner refurbished the building and we successfully made supersession mitigation arguments. Claim settled at £750k at mediation.
