Associate | Rights of Light

Ben is heading the Rights of Light department at Colliers and is a Chartered Building Surveyor, making him one of the few Rights of Light & Daylight Sunlight specialists to be a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has been specialising in the area since the start of his career and has vast experience in all aspects of Rights of Light and Daylight Sunlight, including the technical, valuation and legal.

His experience has allowed him to represent neighbours suffering light injury’s from some of the most significant schemes in the centre of London, including the Royal Mail Sorting Office and 21 Moorfields development. Ben also provides a full advisory service to developers of new schemes, including a £30mil+ mews development in Swiss Cottage. He is also a member of the Pyramus & Thisbe club London branch.

In addition to his extensive knowledge, he also sits on the Working Party to re-write the Daylight Sunlight Guidance note for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
